I have a 6 month old 50" Samsung HP-5053 HD plasma tv. The tv has worked great until just now. When the tv is turned on there are black or dark colored verticle lines from top to bottom across the whole tv screen. The lines are evenly spaced, roughly about an inch apart. The first day it happened the lines went away for about a minute, but then came back. The lines have been there ever since. I am also hearing a buzzing sound coming from the back of the tv. The buzzing sound was there since I bought it, but now it seems to be a little worse. Please help? I have a trouble ticket out with Samsung, and have talked to the service company they told me to use. Its been a week since I have heard back from the service company. I called the service company today and was told the technician was out sick!

This is a very easy fix. Your cable box is not grounded correctly. To fix this you need a AC Plug adapter. This will change your TV ac plug from a 3 wire to a 2 wire. This may sound funny, but trust me on this. I have fix a lot of TV in NY doing just this.
