You have two options. If you normally transfer your photos by connecting your camera to your computer, remove the memory card before making the connection. This will allow the computer to see the photos in the camera's internal memory.

If you normally transfer your photos by putting the memory card into a card reader, use the Backup command in the Settings-1 menu to transfer the photos from the camera's internal memory to the memory card, then transfer the photos from the card to the computer as normal. My camera says Write Protect! And my memory card is unlocked..it appeared when i was uploading pictures and all of a sudden `write protected`appreared and I cannot use my camera or take any photos...w

Have you tried a new memory card,or reformatted the existing one?
Or go on the menu on the camera and restore all the original factory settings?
If none of those work it might be time for a new camera!

Slow time between photos

Do you format the memory card in camera or just delete the photos? If you just delete then try doing a format of the card in-camera (usually in your system memory). Your card may have a corrupt file system causing the camera to freak out, formatting may fix it.

No connection error olympus tough TG-1

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

How do I write unprotect my olympus tg 310

It's not the camera, it's the memory card. SD/SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Olympus tg-310 says write protect even though sd card is not on write protect

SD and Micro SD memory cards has a small slide switch on the edge of the card, which write protects data on the memory card or add photos to the SD card. Slide the switch from the LOCK position to the UNLOCK position, which is furthest away from the contacts.
You may have a software write protection enabled.

Can't upload video from camera to pc Olympus TOUGH TG-310 Digital Camera

Do you have Windows Live Photo Gallery? It comes with Windows 7, but if not you can download it here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/photo-gallery-get-started
  1. Open Windows Live Photo Gallery
  2. Connect your camera
  3. Click the Import icon in the top left corner.
  4. Select your Olympus and click import. It should import both photos and videos.

You can also try and select the videos you want using the file download module Windows displays when a new device is plugged in. If that doesn't work, try
  1. Start > Computer > Olympus Tough TG-310
  2. Then open the folders until you find the videos you want. Select them and copy them to your desktop (or any other preferred location).
I have had video issues with my Olympus TOUGH (could not delete them from the camera) which turned out to be a formatting problem with the memory card.

My olympus tough tg-310 got wet inside with salt water form the beach now it won't turn on please help.

There is very little that can be done, salt water will corrode metal on contact, all eletronic parts have been compromised, if the memory card is still intact save your pictures and remove it from the camera to transfer to new hardware. Replacing the camera unfortuneately is the only option.
