Video Drivers don't fix Audio Problems. Look on the bottom & both the left & right side of the monitor for eiter an audio jack, like the one on the back of your computer that would be labled light green -OR- look for either a square D style hole that would connect a A/B USB cable into it as an extension of your USB ports. There may be more, typically used to plud in your keyboard & mouse, or other USB accessories like one to charge your phone, etc. Then buy the cable that matches what you have in appropriately. Again, video drivers do not fix audio problems. -DellTech1

SOURCE: Princeton VF723 monitor is getting

i would start looking for a nice 22" LCD monitor.
Your monitor was manufactured by phillips and this symptom is very common. The crt gun gets week and has low emissions. The vid card driver has very lillte to do with the brightness control. However if your card is one of the newer nvidia or ati cards there are control ls in the software for brightness. color temp. contrast ect. Doesn't hurt to check but my guess is monitor.
Check out a LG or view-sonic for new ones.

Princeton Monitor Driver Pack R1.05 or any other driver which will work in order to get 1920x1200 resolution

NO driver will make a monitor do what you want, that is a function of the actual VIDEO card that is what makes a monitor display the high resolutions, NOT the monitor itself, a monitor doesn't really need a driver as such to work at any resolutions. So try a Video card driver upgrade this may help?

I have an old Princeton VL 173 that I had been using with an old computer running Windows XP Pro. It works fine. Got a computer with an Asus MB and a Intel Core 2 Quad running Windows 7 Home Premium...

It sounds like a driver/software issue. When you ran the Princeton VL173 on XP you probably had all the correct software for your video card and the correct drivers to support your video output. When you changes OS to Windows 7, the XP drivers are no longer in place. My best guess is that you need to find and install the correct drivers for your system video and for your video card that are Windows 7 compatible. The old XP drivers will not work in Windows 7.

I am running XP with a Princeton VL173. It works great. I identified the correct video drivers for my system and installed them. My video card is nVidia 8800GT. I downloaded and installed the latest software from nVidia and installed it. It runs like a champ.

Several months ago my display died. It was just blank -- black. I tried using a power supply (AC adapter) from an old HP printer that died, and it worked! The plugs were identical, and the power output profiles were very nearly identical. It has been rinnung great for many months now.

I hope this helps.

Where can I find the driver for a Princeton VL1919 monitor

Princeton Graphics VL2018W monitor does not require any drivers to function. If you have problems changing resolutions, color depth, or refresh rates, Please consult your video card manufacturer for a video driver or support. Your system will not identify the monitor if video drivers is not installed properly. I agree with this statement. You dont need drivers for monitors 99.9% of the time. Usually you video card is what is wrong if u cant change the resolution.
