Hi there.
If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing.
If the washer won't drain the pump belt might have broken or might have worn out. Check the belt and replace if it shows signs of excessive wear.
Drain Pump
If the washer won't drain water the drain pump might be defective. It's also common for a small sock or other article of clothing to get caught in the drain pump or in the drain hose. Check both for an obstruction before replacing the pump.
Other Causes and Conditions
Clogged Pump or Hose
If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing. Keep in mind that any water in the washer will pour out of the hoses when removed.
Drive Belt
If the washer won't drain, should check the drive belt. If the belt is broken or if it isn't tight on the pulleys the washer won't drain properly, if at all.
Lid Switch Assembly
If the washer won't drain the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.
Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly
If the washer won't drain the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.
Drain Hose
If the washer won't drain water check the drain hose. Be sure the hose did not get kinked behind the washer. Also, remove the hose from the pump and check it for obstructions.
Coin Trap
If the washer won't drain the coin trap may be clogged. This washer is equipped with a device near the water pump called a coin trap. The purpose of this device is to trap any foreign materials that make their way down the drain. Normally, the coin trap can be accessed through an access panel. It is designed with the homeowner in mind and is normally easy to clean out.

SOURCE: Maytag Performa Washing Machine

Before you do anything else..UNPLUG it from the 240volt supply ! Read ALL of this before attempting the fix. After draining out the water, lay the machine down to expose the inner workings. You'll need to find the pressure switch which is connected by an thin rubber or plastic tube from the wash tub. Check that it is is properly connected.(YOu may have to cut off a little of each and to give you a an "as new" airtight sealed fitting. A little smear of quikgrip glue around the nozzle at each end will ensure a longlife airtight fit of the tubing.) BUT before you do the final glueing and fitting of the tube. Just have the tube at the pressure switch nozzle connected and BLOW into it. You should hear an audible click when blowing and relesing the air. Even if you hear this, it only confirms that the diaphragm in the pressure switch is ok. It does not tell you if the two way switch inside it of good integrity. By integrity I mean the condition of the switching CONTACTS, As they carry high current, they eventually burn and pit and can become of such HIGH resistance to the flow of current that there is none when the switch is in fact physically in the on position. Further advice from me can be had by accessing the PAYG "Let our Experts Solve YOur Problem" FixYa Link.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Quiet Wash - Wash Cycle not holding water

Since your washer worked fine while in Germany and now is exhibiting this problem at your new home, you may want to double check how it was installed. I suspect you may have a problem known as "siphoning". The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587481-prevent_washer_siphoning

This could be a simple situation where the drain line on the washer is not installed correctly. There are minimum height and length requirments on the drain line. In addition, make sure the stand pipe you have the drain hose inserted in has a proper air gap to allow draining. All of this is explained in the link provided.

I hope this information is helpful to you. The majority of the situations arise from improper installation and is not an operaitonal problem with the washer. If, however, you double check everything and still have problems, please post back and let me know.

SOURCE: Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

SOURCE: i need a user manual for bush washing machine

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry, this forum is not able to supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)

You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
John C.

How do I open the door to my Bush a126q washing machine after a quick wash?

Reset it back to the spin cycle and try to empty some more water out of it. It should release the door when it knows it is empty.

Bush A126Q White and the ''end of programme'' light is staying on

Sorry Jo, I think I may have mis-understood your explanation - is there actually a problem with the machine functioning properly or is it simply that the end of cycle light will not turn off?

If it is the latter then simply turn the dial back to 0 before opening the door from the previous wash, this action tells the washing machine to reset itself as the drum is about to be emptied.

I have the exact machine however as it is graded, it didn't come with any manuals, at the end of the wash I just figured thta this was what I needed to do.

Its almost as if you need to double-declutch the washing machine - return the macine to 0 before selecting another cycle.
