This is a huge download...Nearly 300MB. Do not even attempt it if you do not have broadband. (DSL or Cable)
I have not used this site so its satisfaction is not guaranteed. There are other links on this site to scan your computer. They may be legit, but I wouldn't do it.
The only other recourse would be to contact Panasonic for a new CD which they will no doubt charge you for. If you should decide to do that the customer service number is 1-800-211-7262.

down load split cam and install it from the site mentioned below run the software then connect your pc , open split cam from the progrrame, in split cam icon choose usb cam your cam shall work, http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/freeware/usb/webcam-driver
1. Please install the driver first and then connect VideoCAM Trek to the USB port.
2. Installing the VideoCAM Trek driver
Windows Environment
a. Insert the VideoCAM Trek Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.
b. The Autorun screen will bring up the installation screen. Click on
“Driver” then simply follow the on-screen instructions.
c. Install DirectX from the CD.
Notice: If the Autorun screen doesn’t start, please follow these
steps: Click on “Start Menu” Type D\SETUP.EXE , then click Enter key.
(Assume your CD-ROM is in Drive D)
Mac Environment
a. Insert the VideoCAM Trek Installation CD into the CD-ROM
drive.
b. Double click on the CD-ROM driveglish
c. Click on the file folder of “VideoCAm Trek Driver OSX 1.0”
d. Click on “VideoCAM Trek Driver Install” then simply
follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Insert the VideoCAM Trek’s USB cable to your desktop’s or
laptop’s USB port.
4. Complete software and hardware installation. You can
install the software you would like to use for video
conferencing or chat with your friends.

I have the same problem. The CD-ROM was not in the camera package when I bought it last year. Did not need it until now so was trying to get disc from Panasonic -- Have just hung up with them (after many frustrating hours of tryting to get resolved) and told them I'll never buy another Panasonic product again.
If you lost your cd-rom drive (device) then you can buy new from pc shop, but if you lost your drivers or software then you can download latest drivers from support site http://global.acer.com/support/download.htm
