Whirlpool Duet Electric Dryer will not get hot

Can you assist with the issue of my Whirlpool Duet Electric Dryer not getting hot. It spins and the vents out are clean.

There are no codes popping up, no errors, the dryer just does not get hot?

My dryer stopped heating as well. I was told I need to replace the heating element. I have ordered one and will let you know if this fixes the problem

Here are the source codes that pop up on the dryer with the "fix" PF Power failure "PF" flashes to indicate that a power failure occurred while the dryer was running. Press HOLD TO START to continue the cycle, or press OFF/Pause to clear the display. E1 Thermistor open Replace thermistor if found defective E2 Thermistor shorted Replace thermistor if found defective

My whirlpool duet electric dryer will turn on run for a minute than turn off and smells hot

Check the dryer vent,some times they will get stopped up with lint causing the dryer to shut off on high temperature.

My whirlpool duet is not drying....it is not getting hot. It appears to be drying but it is not getting hot. I have to run the dryer multiple cycles.

Check for crimp in your vent line, Check your breaker. It is a dual breaker if one side pops it will run with no heat. Check those first.

I have a duet electric dryer. It isn't getting hot air

This video shows how to get into the machine. Your heater slides out and is easy to replace by removing the bottom panel. Looks like this:
