Password forgot i have a samsung r225 cell phone i forgot the phone password which was set previously please help me its phone password not sim card password

the solution is simple. REMOVE your sim card (this is a very important step!! DO NOT leave the sim card in) then dial the number *2767*2878# or *2767*3855# . Go to mobile tracker settings, and click "ask for a new password". Then input you new password and you should be fine. I hope this solves your problem

Hello here is how i unlocked mine, info provided by Samsung,start by turning the phone off then removing the sim card,
switch the phone on without a sim card,
type in dial *2767*2878# then wait for it to reset!
once it boots up itself, the phone code is now removed and unlocked , you can now shut it down reinsert the sim card and voila!

• Contact your ASP (administrator service provider) like VODAFONE as you will not be able to use this sim card at any other phone except your password • Or you can put your password more than 10 times then sim card will be purged finally you can make sim swap and it will work normally

Reset your phone

I your sim is locked then contact your service provider

Well I'm happy I can help you.The same problem happened to me and my Samsung Highlight T-749.First, I called Customer Care and they tell you to type in some passwords.If,the passwords they tell you to type in don't work,then they will give you the option of buying a new sim card.The sim cards usually cost about 20 bucks but don't worry because you can back-up the data in your old sim card to your new one.Hope this helped you!

The first step is to find out if the password is on your sim card. If you already know that it is on your sim card skip this step. Turn off your phone and open it up. You should see your battery. On most phones your sim card is located under the battery. When you find your sim card remember exactly how it goes into it's slot and take it out.

Put the battery back into the phone and turn it back on. It will tell you that your sim card is missing and on most phones ask you if you want to start without a sim card. Press yes and see if it asks you for your password. If it does not, then the password is on your sim card. Put the sim card back into your phone and call your service provider. Tell them that you forget the password to turn on your phone. They should be able to tell you what you password is after they ask you a few questions.

If the password was not on your sim card, then call your cell phone provider and ask them how to reset your password.

Service provider: Verizon, Vodafone etc are service providers.
Cell phone provider: Samsung is a cell phone provider.

Try resetting the phone, the hard reset on the phone, you need to take off the battery of the phone then remove the sim card.
