As a former Whistler employee i can tell you the unit was manufactured by Whistler,but prior to the company being acquired by the current ownership.As far as I know, no manuals are available, but the operation is rather simple with no customer- adjustable controls.The unit does not have any drivers or CPU, just a microwave waveguide and circuit board

super old model and no manual available online. What info do you need? Whistler does have tech info if oyu click on radar detectors and then on the left pane - click on Additional Models. At the pull down menu - select 1190.

SOURCE: found Whistler Spirit Triband Radar detector in my basement. I
That model only picks up X , K and the photo radar portion of Ka band, It doens't pick up the full Ka radar guns out there plus it doesn't pick up laser.
H= Highway mode
C= City mode
P= Pulse or instant-on type radar.
The numbers indicate signal strength - higher the number the stronger the signal.
