My new ONN monitor has small white streaks all over it like passing stars in a movie. When I rub the screen hard with my finger some go away?

At 5 months, it is still under warranty. Return it and get a full refund. The contact strip at the top and bottom of the screen is not making good contact. Time for a new one. Buy a good brand like Asus or HP. Onn are cheap as chips, made in China, and where quality is governed by how much Walmart is willing to pay them. It is a house brand.

Pale copies and two vertical white streaks

Hi,
I'm afraid that regarding pale copies, you are better off checking your consumables (toner, fusers, etc) and then try talking to Toshiba. However, the vertical white streaks can be caused by excess ink and other contaminants on the inside of the printer. If you open the main door to both the printer and finisher (if fitted) and look at all of the visible runners, feeders and other handling devices, try to see if any of them line up with your vertical streaks on a page. If so, try manually rolling them and cleaning them thoroughly. This might help remove some of the streaking (it did on mine).
Hope this helps, Alistair

If you are getting vertical white streaks or faded streaks from the top of the page to the bottom. It sounds like the developer blades in the imaging unit needs to be replaced. It cost around $120 to replace, but after a while it will happen again. This is a common problem with this printer. It can be cleaned by taking the unit apart and cleaning the developer blades, if you are handy. I have posted detail instructions in my tips section. or you can click on this link:
