I have an HP Deskjet 3745 printer. It has started printing blurry with a ghost image and the print is darker than normal. I installed a new cartridge and it didn't help-still doing it. The old cartridge was doing the same think only the print was lighter. The color print is fine, only the black is acting up when printing text. Any ideas on what I can do to solve the problem? Thanks, Dee
Hey,
Your problem could be because of bad alignment. That means paper alignment and printer alignment don't match. There will be instructions in,your manual to properply align your printer.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
There is a process called 'calibrate printer'. This procedure is explained in detail in the manual.
Or,
the problem is that the documents you are
choosing to print don't have black as the default font colour in your text
software. Or possibly your text is not really text at all (in the sense of
being a bunch of ASCII) but is an image, just as if it were a scanned text
that hasn't been OCR'd. Keep it simple and print from Notepad to check.
