My machine is showing error message F12 - Hotpoint Ultima WF860 Front Load Washer

F12 is a problem with the heating element if you not sure on have to check it, u migth want call a appliance tech to fix it ok

F12 - Communication error a thing to try is resetting the machine to do this turn machine off at plug for 5 mins then back on and start a cycle and see if it happens again. hope this helps.

f12 is a communication error between the circuit boards. engineer job. if the machine is less than 5 years old the parts are free but the callout +repair's about £100 from hotpoint.

Looking through all the service documentation and engeneering tips, and also searching the Xerox.com database, I find no E3 code for a F12.
Do you have the ECM mode on your mechine set to "ON" ?
That is the error correction mode.
I really can't find an E3 message in service documentation.
I will download a user guide and see if I can find it there.
