Error Code is "LE" ie Overload On Motor. How can I fix this by meself?
I had the same problem. I thought it was the motor it turned out I had a nickle wedged in the filter (bottom left behind panel) the nickle blocked the water pump makeing the pump overload.
WHAT THAT SUGGESTS IS AN OVERLOADED WASHER TUB OR DRUM BEARINGS OR MOTOR BEARINGS. DEPENDS HOW FAR YOU WANT TO GO INTO YOUR PROBLEM. IF YOU HAVE THE MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE AND AREN'T AFRAID OF GETTING DIRTY - PLEASE GO FOR IT!
If your washer was working previously please read below.
Thermal Overload Protection
Your washer may display the LE code if the thermal overload protection circuit in the motor has been tripped. The feature is designed to prevent the motor from overheating and causing permanent damage to the washer. To clear the error code, the motor must cool down. Allow the washer to sit for approximately half an hour before restarting the cycle. If the code reappears, the motor may have an issue that requires a service call. Unplug your washer and contact LG.
