The best way to download photos from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy photos from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Picasa will also do a more than adequate job of printing your photos.

I need to change my dpi to 96 but don't know how.

DPI (Dots Per Inch) is an output specification, used when printing photos. As such, it has no meaning to the camera when taking photos. You can make 4x6 and 8x10 prints of the same photo and they'll have different DPI settings even though they're exactly the same photo.

The camera provides no means for setting arbitrary DPI settings. You set it when making a print. In addition, many photo editing program will give you a means of setting the DPI value without having to print.

Cannot get date to print on .jpeg images when downloaded

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every photo in its EXIF metadata. If you want the date printed on your photos then please refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using to print. Depending on the program and printer you may have the option of printing the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

I can't get pictures from internal memory.

Look in the Setup menu. There should be a "Backup" or "Copy" entry that will let you copy pictures to/from internal memory.

Problem printing photos accurately.

I fixed the problem by eliminating possibilities. The problem is with the default setting on iPhoto which I use to edit photos before copying to a USB then printing. I need to change the default setting constraint to 4x6. The problem is not with the camera. Camera is great! Thanks.

Print Photos This idea may seem like a no brainer, but I am not justtalking about printing out images from the web. I am not even talking aboutprinting out a photo from your family vacation. What I am talking about isusing your printer to print photos that look like you just had them developedprofessionally. With some high quality glossy photo paper, photo quality inkcartridges and a bit of editing skills, you can print all of your favoritephotos with ease without needing any professional help. And the beauty of itis, most people use digital cameras these days rather than traditional 35 mmfilm, so the transfer is easy. You can even plug your camera directly into someprinter models and print photos right off of the camera.

Cant get date to print on phots

The photos taken by EOS cameras don't have the date & time overlay. To print your photos with date/time stamp, use Zoombrowser EX software that came with your camera. When you select photos for print, you'll get the option of printing the date/time (and even the choice of font's colour) on the photos.

Traditional photo prints

Most photo processing centers or digital printing Kiosks can make traditional photo prints from a digital camera. There are also many on-line photo processors which conveniently deliver prints by mail. You can also make prints yourself if you have a photo quality printer like the Olympus P-400 printer.
