Misfeeds My Sharp AR-M455N copier is telling me I have a misfeed when I am certain that I do not. The misfeed paper has been removed but the misfeed notice on the screen won't go away so I can't print or copy anything else. Is there some way to override the misfeed notice?

A misfeed occurred while I was running copies. The paper ripped, but I have removed every piece of that torn sheet, but the error message on the copier still says 'paper misfeed' and shows an arrow pointing to the output center tray also known as the Paper Pass Unit. I have removed that drawer, check for paper, and even use suction just in case there was something that I couldn't see while using a very bright flashlight.

Sharp AR-6020 Copier. The triangle & the ??? is blinking non stop. What do I do? I have used the code 14 & it couldn't solve the issue. Help please.

That doesn't look like a Cellphone! Picture graphic looks like a photocopier? Presumably 'Are' is supposed to be 'Our', but no one knows what a 620 is? Google thinks it is a Wire Tracer unit!

PLEASE, FULL

make model (what it is)

in all questions and put it in the correct category.

AHA, this is a Sharp AR-6020

Orange Bang out triangle can be anything. Remove paper trays, remove toner, open all the doors, and look for paper misfeeds. Disconnect the power for 30 seconds. Replace everything and connect power.

Make absolutely certain the correct size is specified for the paper in your tray, otherwise your print driver may be locked on selecting from the bypass tray and not set to 'auto select'

Copier Sharp AR-M237 a Misfeed Occurred message

First try a different tray to see if it works, if it does than the paper tray you are using may have dirty feed tires or look for something obstructing it.

Misfeeds

We lease the copier and have a maintenance contract. We call for a technician to come out and fix the problem. I was trying to find out if there was something preventive that we could do to avoid the misfeeds. For instance, maybe a particular type of paper (brand) is recommended. We use different brands but all are 20lb bond (some recycled, some not). We attempt to keep the paper from absorbing humidity, keeping it in its wrapper until use. Often I think it is that the sensors in the copier get "dusty" and then don't function properly. The user cannot get to these sensors -- that takes a technician.
