Hi, I've had my LG Moniter Flatron w1952tq for quite some months now. For some reason it now gives me an Analog Power Saving message when i start it up. My graphics card is in tightly and i CAN get into safemode! Please i have a paper to finish up I could really use some assistance asap!
does this mean that the monitor will not recognize that it is plugged into the computer at all ?
have you tried any other monitors with the same video card and if so did they work?
does your computer have another VGA ( analog video) out connection ( maybe right off the motherboard) ? it could be that it is simply trying to send video out of there
while you are in safe mode you might want to try and update the video drivers. that could very well fix itdoes this mean that the monitor will not recognize that it is plugged into the computer at all ?

your LG monitor is bad then if you put another monitor on the computer and your getting video. Just as a last resort, you might want to put the LG monitor on another computer and if it stays in sleep mode then you know for sure at that point, the monitor is bad.
look in control panel and power options. see if the monitor is set to power down after one minute set the dropdown to always on. if this don't work post back and i'll try to help.
i had the same problem.
connect the monitor with the analog cable and shut down your pc.
while it is off unplag the analog cable and place the digital one(dvi).
this should fix your problem m8 ;)
