I can't delete/uninstall apps. When I click on the app, it shakes but there is no X in the corner to delete the app. HELP PLEASE

Uninstall the NASCAR app then reinstall it.

To uninstall it, press and hold on the app until it (along with others) starts to jiggle. Press the x that appears in the app's corner.
The app should disappear.
Press the Home button to stop the delete process ...
stop the other app icons from jiggling.
Goto the App Store, search for the app's icon, then download and install it.

Find the icon for the app you want to delete, and press and hold it for a few seconds. It (and all the other icons on the screen) will start to wobble gently, and a small cross will appear in a grey circle by each. Tap the cross, then confirm you want to delete the app.

The App that you are wanting to get rid of is more than likely a built in App. All Apple iOS devices ie iPhone, iPod, iPad, iWatch come with pre-installed Apps, these apps unfortunately cannot be deleted, Apple does not provide any options with these built in apps to hide, remove or otherwise. ALL NON Apple Apps will always be able to be deleted, like you have mentioned by a wobbly widget and an "x" in the top left corner. If you are talking about facebook messenger you just need to hold down your finger on top of the icon, wait for it to shake and a little 'x' button to appear on the app icon, then click the 'x' button. Ipad---Hold finger on app that you want to delete when screen changes and the icons start shaking hit the x and it will delete it.
Android-- select the app hold your finger on the app, screen should change or you will see a trashcan or else thew letter x with delete, slide the app to either the trashcan or the x, you will be asked are you sure you want to uninstall this app. Make your selection.

You can either delete them from itunes when you plug in your ipad click on the devices and select your ipad then under the tab app you can then choose the apps you want to be on your ipad. Or on your ipad itself press your finger onto the any of the apps until they start shaking on screen the ones you can delete have an"x" in the top left hand corner of their icon, you then click on the "x" and it will then ask "Delete app, Deleting "app"will also delete all of its data" then select delete or cancel.
