I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Sometimes when I put my foot on the gas to reverse it doesn't do anything for a few seconds then starts reversing, but really jerky. This also happens when driving forward at traffic lights. When my car sits at a red light for awhile I can feel something happen below me, then when I hit the gas to go forward it jerks for awhile before it can accelerate smoothly. Any ideas?
Well for one, make sure you speed up slowly, dont HIT the accelerator. It may also be problems with your fuel filter. After you are stoped fuel stops running through the fuel pump/filter and then when you start going its starts to run through again and it cant keep up so it gets bubbles in it and doesnt move throught the filter easily hence the jerky accelerating. Good Luck
