Remove the bobbin case. If the machine has a free-arm cover, it should be removed also. On most older machines, there are multiple needle plates (zig-zag or straight-stitch) available so they are removable & exchangeable, but for your machine, you'd have to verify. You'll have to carefully remove the threads by cutting with a tiny pair of scissors and pulling the threads using needle-nose pliers or tweezers. If you are unable to remove all the threads, you may need to take it for service.
