I have a sgh-t139 phone I want to delete recent recipients list

Go to the messaging menu choose send message then go to Voice SMS or Picture Mail, okay then choose Recent List there you should see the recent contact you have texted to select the ones you want to delete and press options there you can delete the selected or delete all.

Go into a new text message and hit the "send to" option. Scroll down to the first name above the line and hit the "options" button. Scroll down and select "Recent messages" and choose whoever from that list that you'd like to be your top 3. I actually just sent all three of mine a blank text, but when I went back to the "send to" list voila! MORE INFO: I tried all kinds of things to remove names from my top three recipients list. What ended up working was to send a text to multiple recipients at once. Two was enough. But it was important who I selected first. I sent a message to my wife and my friend. My wife's name got added back to my top three! Then I reversed and sent a message to my friend and to my wife. His name got added back!

send message
pic/video message
go down to recent list
check off the ones u want to delete
go to options in the bottom right corner
and then delete

LG Rumor 2: Go to Menu>Tools & Settings>Settings>More>Security>enter the lock code(last 4 digits of the phone number if it hasn't been already changed by the user)>Erase/Reset>Erase Messages. Your text recipients will be erased but so will your messages.

Follow these steps
Click on messaging icon from main menu>>Click send message >> Instead of clicking text message >>click on pic/video message >> then you have 4 options To:CONTACTS ,TO Mobile,To Email & finally To Recent list >> Click on recent list >> checkmark all the numbers you want deleted >> click options bottom right corner >> click delete. You have done it. Any more help i am here to help
