SOURCE: batteries don't charge

Dust getting in the charger is a problem, Try blowing it out with a moisture-free dust remover, found at most any store. Green flashing means improper power, due to dust or power from the outlet, try a differant wall outlet. Red flashing means the charger or battery is to hot and must cool down before it will charge. The charger will not charge a battery if the lights are flashing. Solid Red light means it is charging and solid green light means it is charged. Plug the charger in first before putting the battery on the charger. If the charger has been droped or hit the floor the coil inside could have broke loose and dammaged the charger requiring it to be replaced.

Sorry Mate your battery is dead...
The makita lithium batterys dont like getting worked hard quickly.
There is a chip in them that recognice each battery to each specific charger. Try another charger. This has not worked for me. Try anyway

SOURCE: batterys wont charge flashing red and green possibly burnt out

Here's something you might want to read in regard to restoring batteries. I've never tried this but what do you have to lose at this point? Good luck!

SOURCE: hi both red and green

If both lights are flashing it means the battery is defective so it won't charge it. By defective it could mean the battery is just worn out or there may be a short in the battery. If the battery is under warranty you can get it replaced at a Makita Service Center, if not you have to buy a new battery.

The battery won't start the generator. It has to be hand pulled to start. how do I recharge the battery?

Sometimes it is more expensive to fix the problem with the generator charging system than purchase a small 12v battery charger. I would purchase a 12v small battery charger (5A) that you can keep plugged into your house hold power. This will maintain the battery at full charge so it is ready to start when you need it.

How long will it take to recharge a 100Amp battery with the Yamaha portable generator

That will depend on the charger that you are using. If you use a 10 amp. charger it should only take about two hours for partial charge and up to six for complete. Thank you

No power output at all

If your field winding is good, try to recharge it with a 12 V battery, connected for a few seconds to the field "+" and "-".

How long will the battery last? Can it be recharged in my car? How long does it take to recharge?

Haier HLT71 portable TV battery is good for about 2 hours.
You can recharge it from your car cigarette lighter jack.
Or from your household 120 VAC wall plug.
It comes with both adaptors you need.
It takes about 8 hours for a full charge.
You can charge the TV while watching it, or you can power it off.
Not sure if it charges faster or the same if you are watching.
If the battery does not give you 2 hours after the first charge, try charging and using it a few more times to bring the battery up to full capacity.
Replacement batteries are available on eBay. Good to have for backup in case of a storm.

Battery not recharging

All batteries die sooner or later. I believe you have a dead cell.

1) Find another machine that uses the same battery and try it or
2) try another battery or
3) Give up and buy a new battery.

Good luck.

Won't recharge

The first step is to change the battery. It's not too hard. If you know what generation iPod you have, go to Newertech dot com & order a battery. They have video walk throughs on their site as well. If that doesn't work, It probably means the iPod is dead.
