Printer program Gday, I have installed printer drivers for a Canon Pixma ip4200 with no problems. On the CD I also have a choice of programs I can use for various tasks. The only program I really use is the CD Label Print. The drivers installed without a problem, but when it tried to install this program I received the following error. (D:\Canon\CD-LabelPrint\Manual\html\02-21uninstall.htm) I have tried uninstalling all drivers & programs & reinstalling without any luck. I would appreciate any help I can. Thanks S Burkhardt

just got mx922 printer, trying to print on a blank cd cover ,i have my owne picture, that is on the program audio label, and asked printer to print on cd, and will not only ask for me to use paper , i wont i on a cd cover not paper. how to fix this problem and note i have window7.

I think driver u have installed is not support cd label print. u go to your vender who provide u printer. or u have better option to upgrade your driver which support cd label print. good luck purushotam

Printing

Start with the printer all plugged in but switched off, then install the right drivers for your OS. If you are running Win7 you will have to download the latest drivers from the Canon website as the drivers on the included CD only go up to XP. READ all the instructions on the drivers install process, they will tell you when to switch on the printer. It should all be fine after that.

No installer for Canon 4200

You can download the drivers off the Canon website. My fiance' has a Pixma 4200 and I was able to download the driver there a few months ago.

Settings for newer types of paper

Matte Papers are a bit thicker and heavier, in the printer properties, try to select from the choices for paper types that are more related kind of paper, like matte photo paper, to "Fine Art Premium matte".

A support tech at Canon suggested I try this.

find the file ImageCache.ic - I found it in application data folder in My Documents, delete it.

Uninstall CD Label Print, search for any other "CD Label Print" files or folders and delete them too.

Re-boot and re-install CD Label Print.

This worked for me. Hope it works for you too.
