Phillips hotel mode 319753

cos thats probably disabled. this is common for HOTEL mode (numpty people not allowed to mess with settings)TV's. typically you do a kind of sign in procedure like press 319753 and some other button to temporarily enable the extended menu. Unfortunately the EXACT make/model probably has a different sign in to every other AQUA which is also annoying. you didnt tell us the detail we need to tell you the actual signin.

The TV might have set to Hotel mode. To get it out from this mode, you have to enter its service alignment mode [SAM]. Check this link to get more details about it. Using a universal remote with numeric keys, input this code->319753 and press mute. This has to be done quickly, and the channels will change, but ignore that.
Use navigation keys to change the settings.
If it's in High security mode, then you are pretty screwed, unless you can find the green Master remote which has a few more functions.
If in Standard mode, then a universal should be fine.
It took me DAYS to find all this out, since I just picked one up last week, and I had the same problem.
I had to use 2 remotes to do it though, since my universal is old and clunky, but I had an old Philips multi remote for a video player as well, which accepted the direction buttons ;)

Philips sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The override code for Philip sets is 0711, although it may say "Incorrect code" the first time to trick you. If "Incorrect code" is displayed, simply enter 0711 again. To use it hit the MENU key to get to the menus. Go up or down until you reach AUTOLOCK or SMARTLOCK, depending on the model, and push the "right arrow" key on the remote. Enter the override code, and enter it a second time if it says it is incorrect.
Once in the AUTOLOCK or SMARTLOCK menu, go to BLOCK, and push the "right arrow" key. Go to BLOCKING OPTIONS and press the "right arrow" key. Go to MASTER DISABLE and press the "right arrow" key so that it says "MASTER DISABLE ON". The v-chip is now reset.

the code for this tv is as follow press and hold stdby and mute at same time then key in 319753 then press mute this lets you into the menu. these tvs where set up for hotel use but can be set up for as other.

type in the code 319753 followed IMMEDIATELY by the MUTE button. The number sequence and mute button must be done within 20 seconds of each other. Once you hit mute a new menu will appeal click on CHANNEL INPUT (should be the third one down) then a new menu will come up and click AUTO PROGRAM at the bottom, this will go through all the channels (up too I think 90?) and unlock them one by one.

YOU WILL NEED THE SPECIAL REMOTE TO DO THIS. AND I THINK SOME OF THEM HAVE ABILITY IN SERVICE MENU TO TURN OFF HOTEL MODE. OR YOU CAN TRY USING ANY PHILLIPS/MAGNAVOX REMOTE WITH THE STATUS BUTTON AND TRY THIS.
PRESS MENU-9-6-5-2-STATUS AND YOU SHOULD BE IN THE SERVICE MODE TURN OFF THE HOTEL MODE

for phillips tvs that come out of a hotel try this code with RCA universal remote. the big remote not a small remote. 319753 followed immediately by the mute button. this will pull up the tv setup menu.
