Hello, we own a Toshiba LCD Colour TV (Model 15VL63B). When we initially switch on the TV, the screen breifly comes to life (for no more than 1 second) before returning to a blank, black screen. The audio if fine, but the screen does not display any picture. The unit has not been dropped or intefered with and has been working ok since we purchased it earlier in the year. Any help you can give me to resolve this problem would be much appreciated. Thanks
We have the same problem.
After the initial cold start [from fully OFF] we found that we could leave the TV unit on whilst playing the SOUND>>> A few minutes later PRESS the RED Button on the REMOTE to put the TV unit in STANDBY and then press a NUMBER key HEY PRESTO!!! some how it has managed to warm the unit up enough to allow the LCD screen to burst into life. HOOOOORAYYYY!!

WE have the exact same problem!! What did you do for it?? The same thing is happening to us to a T.
The same problem here with a Toshiba 15VL63 - picture appears for no more than 1 sec then black/blank screen with sound. Any ideas/solutions much appreciated.

exactly the same; turn on, screen lights up as nornal, 1 second then black screen with full sound and functionality.
