Safe mode! I have a Logitech Harmony One remote contol, which has become stuck in safe mode. I've only had the unit for around three months so I suspect the battery should not be weak yet, although anything is possible. I've tried to download the latest firmware with the battery in the remote, but after initially appearing to install, it tries to update the settings again and stops at 3%. I've also tried connecting the remote without the battery installed (holding down the power button while connecting the usb cable) but nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the Harmony One Universal Remote and a few weeks ago I dropped it on our tile floor by accident. The actual buttons stopped working immediately, but everything on the touch screen was still working. I ignored it for a couple weeks & just used the remote that came with our Time Warner box, but I prefer my Harmony remote. I tried to resync it today & as soon as I got it charged enough to use it, it went into safe mode. I have no idea how to get it back out of that mode. I am going to try calling tech support tomorrow when they're open but any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks! You have tried every thing that I would have done. I would call tech support and work your way to 2nd teir (the guys who are not just reading a prompt and know what they are doing). 1-866-291-1505 this number is only for Logitec Harmony universal remotes. They do not support any other product line.
