Ok, make sure to check your engine oil. Is your engine oil cloudy at all, is there any coolant in your oil? If not, then you likely have leaking engine oil cooler lines somewhere inside your radiator.
That melted chocolate ice cream looking stuff is coating everything (radiator, hoses, water pump, etc)
Replace your radiator and your radiator hoses.
Remove our coolant reservoir and wash it out with very hot water and some cascade or whatever dishwasher soap that's comparable.
As for the rest of your cooling system, flush it a few times to get rid of some of the gunk but know that it'll be in there for awhile and will slowly gather in your coolant reservoir when the coolant is at operating temps. That gunk is very hard to get rid of so you are going to see it for a bit, it won't harm anything.

Oil in the radiator is from a failed transmission oil cooler that is in the radiator tank. You will also have water in the transmission oil as when you shut off the engine the coolant pressure may enter the oil lines through the crack in the cooler.
Testimonial: "The oil is engine oil and I think there is way to much for that to be it. There was at least four quarts in the reservoir alone. And it runs out of oil. Also, what would be the best way to flush the oil out of the cooling system?"

I have the heads off, and the heads and block appear fine and there are no obvious defects in the head gasket. What else could this be?
