SOURCE: audio driver problem

You should install the Chips drivers or intall all the driver in series listed in your CD Utilities. Its good if you download the latest drivers of your system at www.asus.com or here: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

You should download for 64x2 drivers.

SOURCE: asus m2n-mx se plus windows xp wont boot

All you need is the hard drive manufacture's setup software. Flashing you're bios is not the answer. On each drive (SATA & IDE) is the name & model number. Go to the Mf's site & download the free setup software, tools & utilities. Most sites will list software you can download to creat a bootable floppy disk or software to creat a bootable CD. Run the software on the SATA drive. Than unplug the SATA data cable & connect one IDE at a time. Again down load the Mfg's setup software. Do the same for the other IDE. Disconnect the data cable for the IDE drives. Do a fresh install of windows. (DO not allow windows to format the drive)! Just install windows & the motherboard drivers. Than update windows. Durring reboot press & hold the power on button on the PC untill it powers off. Connect the two IDE drives. Check the pin settings on the IDE drives. Set AS; Primary IDE drive 1 as master with a slave. Set IDE two as a slave drive.
Check the bios Boot setting. Make sure the SATA drive is listed in the boot order. Save & exit the PC. Windows should boot just fine.

Good Luck!
Still have an issue, post the trouble here with a description.

There may be trouble with the drive controller hardware in the enclosure. If the drive is no longer in warranty, you may be able to recover the data on the drive by removing the drive from the enclosure and installing it into a docking station or directly into a desktop PC. I am attaching a YouTube link on how to disassemble the enclosure.

I want to get photos from my phone to my computer

You need to connect your phone to your computer with the data cable (one end plugs into a USB port on your computer, the other end plugs into your phone). Once it's connected, you will have an item in your phone notification tray to choose how your phone is connected. Choose "Mass Storage". You will now be able to browse your phone from the computer as if it were a USB drive. Browse to the DCIM folder on your phone, and copy/paste the files somewhere on your C: drive.

Icon won't appear on desktop.

It is possible that your USB flash drive is dead.
The other solution is to try it on some other USB port of your PC (if you used front panel USB ports now try it on the back panel).
If it also wont work, try to connect it to some other PC
If it works with an other PC, your USB ports are dead
You can try going to device manager, and to unintall USBs and reinstalling them

My laptop doesn't detect the external hard drive

Hi there
hey if you are not getting it to recognizing the drive on system startup use your set up disk if you have it if not go to device manager and scan for hardware change and see if it can be found there if not try going into the bios and ensure that the usb ports are enabled and that the plug and play is enabled also you also need to ensure that the device is compatable with your pc i would check with the manufacture of the computer best regards mike

Hi there, I have a Seagate 250Gb external Free Agent disk that I want to put in to my laptop computer. Any ideas how to get in to the case without breaking it?

Hi,

I am Satya.

Hope this helps.

You can connect the Seagate 250 Gb external Free Agent disk by using a Usb connector and connect it to the USB port of your Laptop. In this way you can connect the disk to your Laptop computer without breaking it.

Windows will automatically detect the the drive and can be browsed through Windows Explorer as a separate drive.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
