With the radio turned on or off, press the ALARM button with quick, short presses, over and over, noticing that a speaker or a bell appears under the box labeled 'Timer' in the upper left corner of the display. Leave the speaker there if you want the speaker alarm to turn the radio on; leave the bell if you want to wake up to a beeper. Leave it blank, with no speaker or bell if you do not want the alarm.
Sometimes a beep when off is telling you that it is one standby or it is telling you the battery is becoming depleted.
Hello! I'd be happy to help you.
To remove the key lock from your Grundig TV model GU26DVD without a remote control, you can try the following steps:
Turn on the TV using the power button on the TV itself.
Press and hold the MENU button on the TV for several seconds until the menu appears.
Use the volume up/down buttons to navigate to the "Lock" or "Child Lock" option and press the MENU button to select it.
Enter the four-digit password using the number buttons on the TV. If you don't know the password, you may be able to find it in the TV manual or by contacting the manufacturer.
Navigate to the "Off" option and press the MENU button to select it.
Press the MENU button to exit the menu.
If the above steps don't work or you don't have the manual to find the password, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a professional technician for assistance.
Some Grundig/Eton radios have a button with a key lock symbol.Once the button is pressed it toggles between lock/unlock. In the lock status, the settings (frequency, time, scan, etc.) are disabled. Another function that is disabled is the Power On button. This feature prevent the radio to turn on if the power On button is pressed inadvertently when the radio is in a bag, or a suitcase.
If this is happening on all the channels I think you will need a total reset. If so open menu and check the settings for child lock when you manually tune. An option is to reset the channels once again after the lock is opened. Choose a new channel scan to reset the memory. However if the lock seems to be only on specified channels you can open the settings of the channel and unlock on the menu.
