Some Viewsonic monitors have a Power Lock feature. However, these tend to be on the monitors (like the Viewsonic VA2265Smh) with only 5 control buttons. To toggle off the power lock, press and hold the button labeled 1 (Menu/Save/Exit) and the down arrow button for 10 seconds. The N2201W TV has more buttons than that. There is no Power Lock identified in my Viewsonic TV manuals. However, you might try the press and hold Menu/Down arrow combination.
To toggle the OSD lock off, press the Vol + and Vol - buttons on the Viewsonic N2011 simultaneously. This is shown in the manual on page 8, see https://www.manualslib.com/manual/306712/Viewsonic-N2011.html?page=8#manual . I believe these buttons are on the back of the unit on the right hand side as you face the TV.
Try disabling the lock by pressing and holding [1] (menu) and the down arrow on the front panel for 10 seconds or so. This toggles the power lock on and off for several Viewsonic monitors.
Depends on the model of TV. Some ViewSonics will unlock the menu if you Press the Channel + and Channel - buttons at the same time. You should
see a message stating the menu is unlocking. Once it clears you can use
your remote control to make any necessary changes to the TV.
try pressing and holding one of the "channel up" or "channel down" buttons for 5 seconds or more... While holding the button, you should see a progress bar that indicates "menu locking" or "menu unlocking". That should fix your problem...I found that out by accident on my TV.
Try holding the VOL + and VOL - buttons on the TV (not on the remote) down together. You should see a "unlocking buttons" message on screen. This might work. However, I tried it repeatedly, as told to by the Viewsonic "service" rep, and it didn't work for me. Viewsonic is ****, and so is its "service"!
I had the same issue on my Viewsonic N3752w The online guide, said I had to press VOL+ and Menu at the same time, but forgot to say a) it's from the TV buttons NOT the remote!!! b) you need to keep pressing these 2 until it stop saying "Power unlocking" but Unlocked.
