You can use a universal remote to control any type of equipment you have including a DISH Network receiver. The part that is going to be difficult is find the proper code for the DISH Network receiver. We unfortunately do not have any codes that would work with universal remotes. If you are in need of a TV2 remote for your 322 receiver I would be happy to look into getting one sent out for you. I do hope this has been fixed for you by now starstruck32, but if not there definitely may be a bigger problem we would need to have a technician go out and check. What I would like you to do is go to Menu -> System Setup -> Installation -> Point Dish -> Check Switch -> Test. You can let me know here what it shows.

If only one satellite signal is still being recognized we would have to have a technician go out, if you could send me an email at [email protected] and I would be happy to assist you further with that!

You can still keep the 322 receiver with your new LCD tv. An HD receiver upgrade would be beneifical as well to make sure you maintain the best picture quality.

Can you elaborate on the problem you are having with your receiver. I say the settings are reverting back to default but I don't understand what is happening as far as the Check Switch.

This is Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. The message you are referring to is an older message and it has since been made irrelevant. The message will go away on it's own within about 10 to 15 min and then it will acquire the Satellite signal as normal. if the message doesn't go away, call Dish Network and they try sending an authorization to the receiver or it may need to be replaced.

You can use a direct sat ,but u wud need the dish LNB.

If you have a DVR you can put your recinver into single mode on the front of the rec and enable shared view, menu - 6-2. if you havea 322 syou will needa new rem. 4.0 for 322 tv 2
