SOURCE: cooling fan 902

Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

My hp 1000 mini series has a bios password an i dont no how to get this off someone plz help

When you depress the start button, start tapping the F10 key. This will allow you to boot to the bios where the bios password is. It's possible they selected the password function but didn't actually set a password. You can change the setting so a password isn't asked for. If they in fact did set an actual password, they're the only one that knows it so you might track them down and ask them what it is. There used to be a software that would let you reset the bios whether a password was set or not. You might Google around and find it. If none of that works, you have a door stop with some spare parts because I doubt you can even reflash the bios without the password.

I purchased a compaq CQ62 112TU laptop with a 32 bit windows 7 operating system 5 months ago.today it showed me a cooling fan error..error (902).nd windows is not starting.please help mee....:(

if its only 5 months old you should still have warranty on it you should contact the place of purchase before doing anything
try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines.
try blowing the dust from the fan and your laptop computer computer dust will cause static which can cause a computer to overheat and many unforseen problems also
you could get a usb laptop cooling pad they are very cheap and your laptop will love you for it
hope this helps
