you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times now you are required to enter a puk code to reset the pin code. 

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code. 


if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.

You can get the PUK code from your carrier, just call their help line.
Make sure you have a pen and paper handy as well.

this same exact thing happened to me and i panickedd so much. but there is a way of solving this problem without having to call the people. u probably have and account on the cingular website. log in and then go to ur phone. there might be a picture and a caption saying locked PUK code? or Unblock Sim card. Click that and on the top of the page that loads is ur PUK code!

g when i first got my phone. I took it to my provider and they had to give me a new SIM card and it fixed the problem. But you lose whatever is saved on the original SIM card.
