I have a Frigidaire affinity washer error code reads E11. Unit immediately pauses after activating start. Troubleshooting door ssitch revealed resistance was 1320 ohms. I was told 1500 ohms should be the reading. Is the 1320 ohms reading enough to cause the E11 code?

Good Morning Neil, thank you for your post!

Typically, error code E11 indicates that the water fill time is too long. This could be due to a faulty valve, clogged valve filters, kinked inlet hoses, or low water pressure supplied to unit. Also, if the drain hose is installed too deep into the house drain pipe the water may syphon as it fills. At this point, I would recommend having a service technician to diagnose the problem before investing in unnecessary parts.

Why is my washer not starting and continues to go back to pause?????

Thank you for your post, Jeannie. I am happy to assist you!

If you are receiving an error code PAUSE, it commonly indicates that the door of your washer is not securely latched or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume cycle. If these basic troubleshooting tips prove ineffective, try reprogramming your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your washer. If the issue persists, then your washer could possibly have a faulty door latch or experiencing a communication error with the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. Hope this helps!

Frigidaire Affinity ATF6700FS2 pauses with every load

Hello - This particular issue can be caused by quite a few reasons. Washer could be experiencing a communication error from the main control board, faulty door lock assembly or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Did you notice a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned or could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly or pressure switch. You can also press and hold the start/pause and cancel button together at the same time for approximately 30 seconds to display an error code on the LED. What error code does it display? However, I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the washer.
