I replaced DV unit and drum for konica/monolta bizhub 350 ran F8 and when finished made a copy it jammed at fuser and came up with error C2557 and so I pulled out jam turned machine off and on and the error came up before warm up, but when I put the old DV unit and drum back in copier the error goes away and it makes copies just fine. I also put in the new DV unit and drum in another machine and the error code persists in the other copier as well. any suggestios?...
Tha minolta di3510 developer unit looks the same as the unit for the konica minolta bizhub 350 but the toner sensor in the minolta unit uses a different voltage range for the toner sensor and it will throw this code make sure you have the correct unit for this machine also you can try this
go back into tech rep mode and change these settings:
select tech rep choice mode
select printer tab
select atdc sensor gain
set the value to about 165
then back all the way out to the ready screen and power the machine off then back on and replenish toner in the user management screen.
Obviously the dv unit is defective. Can you return it to the store for another?

this is the 3rd dv unit i've gone thru.
Problem is not DV unit. Toner supply solenoid is stuck. Disassemble toner drive unit and service/replace both bottle and feed solenoid. Warning: this is no easy job. You will have to manually replenish toner hopper then "help" the machine to recapture the gain setting.
