Microwave Buttons Don't Work
Touchpad and Control Panel
If the microwave buttons don't work the touchpad and control panel assembly are probably defective.
Touchpad
If the microwave buttons don't work the touchpad might be at fault. Generally speaking, if the dishwasher display is working and some of the buttons respond correctly but some don't, the problem is with the touchpad.
User Control and Display Board
If the microwave buttons don't work the user control and display board are most likely defective and will need to be replaced. If some of the buttons work and some don't, it is more likely a touch pad problem and the touch pad will need to be replaced.
Main Control Board
If the microwave buttons don't work the main control board is most likely defective and will need to be replaced. If some of the buttons work the touch pad is likely the problem. If none of the buttons work the problem may be in the main control board.

Push the power button and set time - Will not heat up
This is my second microwave and this one just stopped working - i have had it since May 2008.
Tried every selection (popcorn/beverage)
I have a Goldstar MV-1500MG over the range microwave. The control panel suddenly has some buttons that don't work....like the Start button. How do you check the control panel?
I pushed the undermount light button and I saw a flash and the that was it. Nothing works anylonger.
