I would check and make sure you got the correct firmware. 'A', 'S' and 'F' on the end of the model is important. If you use a firmware with no FM, you will have no FM.
i have a problem when i start my mp3 it gives format error even i have formated my mp3 but it's giving me the same error please tell me its solution...
Had a similar problem with the B103F. Not sure it will work for the non F version. Goto Sony's support site at http://www.sony-asia.com/section/support. Search model - NWD-B103F (non F is not listed) Look at the "latest downloads" and select the "firmware update program". (alternately you could first select the "download" section and then select the model.) Download. Run (without the unit plugged) and when asked plug the unit. To be on the safe side, ask it also to format the data section. When finished, the unit should be OK.
i think that your mp3 players battery has died of use or overcharge and you need a new one so i would take it to a retailer of your mp3 player and see if they can get a new battery for you
