E001 is a fuser error. it might be able to be reset, but should be looked by a tech.

SERVICE MODE
*28*-press the additional func button, 2&8 at the same time, and the additional func button again.
when you have done it correctly, the screen will change and it will say service mode across the top.
Then select:
copier
func
clear
err
press the done or ok button on the lower right side of the screen.
turn the machine off at the black switch on the right side, wait 10secs, turn back on. should work.
****DONT MESS WITH ANYTHING ELSE IN SERVICE MODE YOU CAN REALLY SCREW UP THE MACHINE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******************

Check Connectors, DC controller PCB

Further, is the cable between these connectors normal?

Error code e542

The error code means that the finisher bins could not find HP. The problem shows up when something is placed under the bins and stops them from moving down, most of the time a "G" file or a case of paper. Move the object and move the bottom bin up till you hear it click. Before doing that make sure the MAIN Power Switch is OFF on the right side of copier... Then turn the copier back ON and it should clear it self.. Good Luck

Canon imagerunner 210s

EOOO is a thermistor-fuser error. Your machine will need a fuser, but on occasion a power surge can trip the error, E000 needs a code to reset it, I dont know if same but this is the code on a IR 330s
Press the userbutton then press "2" & "8" at the same time and then press userbutton again.
You will now enter servicemode

press " Copier "
press "function"
press "Clear"
press "Error"

leave servicemode by pressing resetbutton twice.

restart machine.

Mind you it is only a reset, if fault still exist it will go eooo again confirming that it needs a new fuser unit.
