well this is common on your model and could be a few different things. one is the video circuit and a cost would range around 100.00. the other is a weak picture tube this would cost more than the TV new. sometimes when it is the tube we can adjust it but it does not always last long. sounds to me it would be better to invest into a newer TV in this case.

Ur controller board it dead,the one in the middle bottom of LCD screen.It a small square board.Replaced this board should have sound and picture back.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Controller board for the replacement.

It looks like the parts for your TV are readily available online (unusual), but I couldn't find the backlight itself, sorry.

This sounds like you have bad capacitors on the power supply board. Look for bulging capacitors. Any weak capacitors will have a bulge at the top. If you know how flourescent lighting works with a ballast, tv's work the same way to power up the backlights but use capacitors. The backlights when lit allows you to see the picture. If they are not charging up fully you get a black screen or a very dim screen which looks black under normal lighting conditions. Sometimes you can turn off all lights and maybe see a faint picture.

its due to weak picture problem prviously iot will happen for portable tv i won't happen for lcd.we have to check it

Thats a common problem the most common reason for the problem are 1. A bad Lamp. 2. A weak ballast. please do see an expert.. n do rate Me!!

maybe checked the supply going to backlight if good,then checked the transformer inverter.

do this test, turn tv on and touch the screen if you can see light in the background it is the panel if no back light is present then it is the power board.
