I'd look at a bad panel, the defective panel damaged your main, replacing that got it working somewhat but if it's on very long I'm guessing you will damage the main board you replaced. Try unhooking the ribbon connectors one at a time and see if half the picture works ok, if so you definately have a bad panel

Hello, there is a problem with your monitors picture tube. May be it might have been damaged as a result of over power or even because of over use. Just try to change the picture tube or change your Monitor.
When the screen flickers on and off it usually comes from the power supply or backlight inverter being bad. For your TV, the backlight inverter and power supply unit are combined. if rebooting the monitor would do no good, try to get a spare monitor cable if the same flickering issue took effect. If it is so, then call your pc provider to repair your monitor..
Hi, Symptom shows problem with lcd panel (screen) however, t-con board that is part of lcd panel could be defective and cause of these symptoms. T-Con board is located at top center of cld panel at rear and would be covered with metal shield. There are three type of t-con board utilized according to lcd panel and are available in shopjimmy.com Please check what t- con board is similar with your tv board to order it. If you are not handy with electronics stuff repair then local tv repairman will help you to replace t-con board that might solve your tv picture problem. Thanks.
what you are experiencing is that your screen bulb is burnt.the screen bulb is what lights up your screen, its just like a fluorescent tube,when it is burnt it flickers for a while and it later goes off.. the only solution is to change the screen bulb as soon as you can
