Check that there is a small tube in the area as it is around that spot that the pressure hose goes up to the water level selector switch
otherwise use a short metal thread screw with a fibre washer under the head to plug the hole
you can get screws as short is 3/8 to 1/2 " and thick in diameter to fit into the hole
too long and it will bind up on the wash tub

Need to check drain pump and its hose connections. If its not from the drum seal then that's usually where the leaks occur.
SOURCE: Torn bellow on Maytag front load washer
there is a spring style clamp holding it to the front panel simply peel back slightly and "pop" it off, then holding it to the inner tub is a screw style clamp, depending on yr of production, either a 5/32 scrwe or a phillips, holding it in the 2 oclock position, release clamp andreinstall boot, it might take some time to get to fit backaround hte tub but itll bo, you gotta walk it on in spots ( like changing a tireon the bikes as a kid) itlll strectch over the rim and fit, just have to work it

The water pump is cracke,. replace the water pump. Peter
SOURCE: washer leaks from bottom during rinse cycle
Take the cover off the back, and look up, next to where you put the soap in, when it's filling/rinsing. There is (like) a (white) plastic valve body, and look to see if water is dripping out of it. I haven't figured out a solution to that yet, other than to replace it.
Also check the boot, coming off the pump. You could have a bad/dry boot, or a loose hose clamp.

easly fixed in most cases .you can grip the door with both hands and tweak it so the bottom of the door is flexed inward it is a common problem with the habbit of leaning on the door while removing clothing also its common that the untrained repair guy forgot to connect the little drain found at 6 oclock on the door boot after you have removed the front panel

So long short - found a pinhole for sure. When I cleaned the trap out found several small nails and screws (my fault for not cleaning pockets after projects) they all had made it through the tub and I speculate that while tub was rotating one of the nails or screws got momentarily wedged between drum and tub punching a hole from inside out. Used plastic j b weld. Problem solved.
