I don't know how to switch wireless on, on my netbook. There is no visible switch, and when I try to view wireless networks it doesn't see any of the available networks.

As i know, on acer netbook you have to switch on your wireless by pressing Fn key with one of the f keys, look from an antena icon on this key or go to control panel open network connections and right click on wireless connection and click enable.

I am trying to set up Wi-Fi from my acer notebook to my new stereo, could you please send me a network sercuity key

hi there!

The Acer Aspire One is a miniature laptop that includes many of the same features larger laptops have. The Acer Aspire One is about the size of a diary and features an 8.9-inch LED LCD display, an 84-key keyboard, two built-in stereo speakers and Wi-Fi capability. Though smaller than most laptops, the Aspire One functions much like other computers. The Aspire One uses the Windows operating system, so it connects to a wireless network the same way that any other Windows computer does.

Instructions

  1. Click the "Start" menu in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  2. Click the "Connect To" option from the menu that appears. The "Connect to a network" screen will appear.
  3. Click on one of the networks listed on this screen to select it.
  4. Click "Connect" at the bottom of the window. You now have set up a wireless connection on your Acer Aspire One.
The network security must be established by you.

Hope it helps,
