Makita charger DC18RC i need electrical scheme or D14 diode value .

The Makita DC18RC charger is equipped with a diode labeled D14 that helps regulate the voltage. It is a 1N4007 diode, which is a 1-Amp, 1000-Volt diode. You can find the electrical schematic for the DC18RC charger online with a quick search.

I have a Bosch AL 3620 CV charger that has blown on plug-in. Is it repairable?

Hello, I was able to fix this charger via replacing several parts in the source part which were either short-circuited (transistors and diodes) or burnt (resistors):
F1 (fuse 2,5A)
R5 0,91R +-1%
V5 (ST)P6NK90Z
V1-V4 1N4007
V6 2N3904
V8 1N4148
R7, R8 300k +-2%
This won't help after 5 years, but maybe it can be helpful for someone else.

Schematic dewalt de0246

depending on the location of the diode in your charger just try replacing it with a ginaric type diode of the same size, but be forewarned that the diode blew up for a reason and you must first find the cause before you replace it for it will blow again and possibly cause more destruction, is it worth it to you to repair or just bye a new one ?

best regards Falco

Can"t charge battery

Could have 1 or more problems. Bad battery, bad charger, bad wiring/connection, blown fuse, or some had a protection diode in the + line in which could open. Would check fuse first.

Charger problem

A phone charger is supposed not to be serviceable (you must not replace components). As this is a safety device, and even a bad solder joint can cause a serious hazard (fire, shock, phone blown).

The only way to find out the value of this transistor is by using a multimeter with diode tester function and testing the transistor as if it was a circuit of two diodes (that is what a transistor is), see here: Testing semiconductors with analog and digital multimeters. , also Transistor.
If the transistor has blown this will be impossible.
Try also going to a spare component shop with the transistor and circuit, this is what we all do when we do not have the schematics and value.

Being this a $8 charger, better buying a replacement:

Laptop problems

Yes fuse/diod, but you'll have to take board out.
To take cd out you'll need to stick pin in the small hole on cd drive's bezel.

Neff combi blown diode.

If the diode failed by opening, there may be no other damage. If the dioded failed by shorting, the alternating current may have damaged other components. Ohm it out. You can get diodes from digikey.com, mouser.com, or radio shack or any electronics or appliance supply. If the diode is charred and you can't get the part number, the oven rating can be used to select a replacement. Since the fuse was 10 amps, the diode should also handle at least 10 amps. If you can power the unit and read the voltage at the diode input this will give you the power (volts times amps). It's always worth trying as it's cheaper than replacing the unit.
