no one buys universal remotes these days. You buy a copy remote which is the same as the original and needs no programming.

If you really REALLY, R E A L L Y want codes and go back to the 1980s there are nearly a hundred in 3, 4 and 5 digit codes!

Either try Pioneer or Google the model number with "remote" to see if you can locate one.

A code for Centrios brand DVD player works for the Harmontec DV-105, but not perfectly. The 4 digit code for some GE/Zenith/RCA universal remotes is 1061. It gives the basic functions for playing.

Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact the same as a original remote or very close to the original remote.

I found the following Multizone Instructions for Teac DV-4180:

1. Open the disc door
2. Press Setup, Vol +, Vol -, Vol +, Vol - on the remote control
3. Press < or > on the remote control to select the region code (255 is all regions)
4. Press 'enter' to confirm
5. Close disc tray

If it's not a well known brand, you're likely not going to find a code for it. I've heard of Go Video, but I don't think it's a very popular brand. (I could be wrong on this point)

Codes don't exist for every tv/dvd/vcr/surround system.

If the remote you bought doesn't have your dvd player listed, then you're probably out of luck.

If it's a very expensive universal remote (like $50-$100) then you might find either a code or a firmware update for it on the manufacturers website.

If not, try every code the instructions list. If you're lucky, one of them will work. If not, c'est la vie.
