What does ER means in model wwa 680

The model you listed is for a washer and not a refrigerator. Regardless, er means "error" but there should be something after it to tell you what error it is.

Ge washer top load wlse4000goww not washing/spinning only pumps

Hi,
Your type of washer usually has a belt theat runs the agitator and spins the tub. The pump is hooked by a direct coupling. If you are still pumping that tells me the motor works but the belt is probably broken or worn so badly that it no longer drives.
Have the belt replaced or do a search for "appliance parts" and then enter your model number. You will get a parts menu to order a new belt from for your unit.
Belt replacement for some of these units can be a major chore... then again some are relatively easy, but consider yourself warned if it is a real project....

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

Thanks for using Fixya!!

Need to get replacement belt for washer. where to

If the model number you have this question listed under is correct, the part number for a replacement belt is WH08X10024. You can find it listed at appliancepartspros.com for about $37.

If you have never replaced a belt on this type of washer before, the following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3059652-drive_belt_installation_whirlpool_duet

The link is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet, but the GE model listed is identical in design.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Changing the belt on a GE front loading washer

Hello , i can try to help , I have always got these belts on by starting the belt on the small pulley/motor , then rolling it on the large pulley , kinda like putting a bike chain on. Let me know if you have any other questions and how it turns out.

Washer won't stop filling. don't think it is faulty inlet valves. i can't locate any air dome/pressure switch assembly. ge washer model # wwa 8300 balwh

It was actually filling up and flooding the room. Found that a rat had chewed through a hose and repaired the hose inside the washer and it now works fine. Thanks

Leaks lime looking oil

The problem is the bottom transmission seal. This can be fixed with a few basic tools without calling a tech. Lay the washer on it's back, block up the tranny support and remove the pulley and seal. you might want to consider changing the belt and lower transmission bearing also. Total price of these parts should be around $50. Don't worry about the loose of oil.
