Device Menu not working

I have a Mitsubishi 62" LCD projection TV. Just recently the device buttons do not work on the front panel or remote. When I try to look at devices the TV will shut off within 30 seconds. I can watch DirecTV with no problem. when I press the arrow up (device button) on remote the screen goes blue and shuts off. Could this be a remote problem. Also when I try to set up the directv remote to operate TV and hit the TV Input the TV will shut off.

We have the same problem, we turn the tv off at night and the next day it is set to Ant and we can't get a picture. If we press device buttons or menu buttons on the remote the tv shuts off in 30 sec.

The remote control does not work and the menu screen will pop up and stay on for a few minutes and then goes away. After a while it stops doing it but the remote still does not work. We have tried unplugging the TV and hitting system reset. It worked a couple of times but does not work any more. Can you help?

Could have a stuck button or a corrupt e-prom, but lets try kicking this set in the head, Now these reset codes are model dependent so this code will not work for every set out there but this reset is for the WD-62525. with the set on and with the original TV remote hit the keys in this sequence, MENU-2-4-7-0 this will bring up a service menu, the cruiser should already be on "Initialize" so simply hit enter. this will reset the TV to factory defaults and may fix your problem

My Mitsubishi WD62627 62 in. HDTV Television is not accepting the HDMI cable. Help!

well first what are you trying to connect the hdmi from do you have it on that input selection is the one it connects to the right one the only thing i could think try and see if what you are trying to hook up will work any other way if it should not see it its only a cable like any other one the only differnce is it will allow full 1080 connection it might be bad or in some cases if your trying to go from the source to the receiver then to the tv and unless you are using hdmi for all then it will not work coponets will not work with transfering the signal

Tv wont respond because device menu is changing through each device

I had a similar problem: my WS-55511 would not respond to the remote and the front control buttons (with the exception of Power) cycled through the Device Menu. I solved this problem by disconnecting the front panel. Here's how to do it: 0. Unplug the TV
1. Remove the speaker grill from the front by pulling forward: there are no screws. 2. Disconnect the two cables that are exposed after the grill is removed. 3. Plug the TV back in, wait for 5 minutes to reset. 4. Try using the remote.  Hope this helps!

Mitsubishi WS-48511 Device Screen Will Not Go Away

David,
Let's start with unplugging the set from the wall power for 15 minutes. This will hard reset the micro... While that's unplugged inspect the buttons on the front panel of the Tv to see that none are stuck in a pushed-in condition. Plug the unit back in, power it up and if all works okay you're back in business... If not, let try a keyboard unlock. Press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds. You won't see any on-screen changes but then try to select an input from the buttons on the front of the Tv.
After you've done these drop me a note and if we haven't solved it will try some other things..

Menu rotates

Had the same problem with the Mitsubishi ws 48511 model. A solution posted in FixYa worked great and might be worth trying as they have very similar electronics and panels -- did you check to make sure that one of the front panel buttons isn't stuck in the depressed postition? For me, the device menu kept cycling and remote wouldn't work. Sure enough, the button was stuck pushed in. It was hard to even notice, but took little effort to get it free. Good luck.
