I don't know. Dewalt does not see the brushes separately, by the way. The brushes are included with the part number 391886-01SV Motor and Pinion, purportedly.
I think that model is on a ring internally so there isnt a way to do like the bigger ones, you would have to take the screws out and take in half and you will the the brushes and can replace.
You have to remove the black cap on the back of the tool (item 4) and I believe you may also have to remove the back part of the switch handle (item 3). Here is a parts diagram so you can see where the brushes are located. DeWalt DW130V diagram
The brush holders & brushes for your DC825 are only sold as an assembly and the left and right sides are different; Dewalt part number 640550-00 for the left, 640555-00 for the right. They are accessable only by splitting the clamshell and easy to replace once you get to them.
look on the motor body there may be two screws over the brushes undo the screws and the brushes are under them if not remove the motor end cap to change the brushes
the brush assembly slides out of the back of the motor. I suggest going to Dewaltservicenet.com and downloading a breakdown for this tool before starting. I don't think that the brushes are going to be your only problem though.
