First off is the a Delux model? If it is your Opti doser needs to be turned up a couple notches. Try turning it all the way to the + and then back off 1 click. Wet pucks have 2 solutions. Either the grind is too coarse or you don't have enough coffee in the brew unit to take up the air space and that leaves room for water.
You need to be sure the removeable grinding surface is clean and not clogged. If it is not clean, water has problems passing through the screen and the water cannot escape, staying in the puck...

Have had this reliable machine now for 5 years plus, so it's been great! However, yesterday it started to taste very watery and the ejected coffee pucks are watery. Cleaned the brew group but still a bit watery...
Wet pucks for me too. steamer works fine. coffee grids, but never completes cycle...just comes to slow stop and no coffee comes out. Cleaned the brew-unit but no improvement. I did notice more wet grinds inside the brew unit.
