Browser not working

a default browser is the browser that you use all the time
if you click on internet explorer and like how it works at it is the browser that always starts then that is the default browser
if you open in internet explorer and search for another browser say google and you then click on google it will suggest that you make it your default browser and if you click on yes then every time you open the system google will appear on the scree as the browser
now if you open on google and search for another browser say firefox again it will say do you want firefox to be your default browser and if you click yes , then each time you open the pc it will open in firefox
browser is a search engine for the net and all those I have mention become default browser when you click on the yes
as to what is your default browser no one knows as you open the pc and read it every time

I guess you are talking about a homepage that always opens in your browser? I am only familiar with Chrome and Firefox browsers. In those, you can go to settings (which is a pull down menu choice of the browser's tools) and type in any URL (web address) you want to be the page that always opens when you start the browser. Another hany choice there is to have the browser load the pages you were last working with. I use this in case there is a crash or a power outage, and then all your previous tabs will open.

Which browser are you using? Aren't you able to open any internet browser on your system?

Trick: Open up IE or any browser fully stretched > then restart PC while browsers are kept open. It works for me, Im not sure with yours...

If I understand you correctly, you need to open a letter in a web browser and it is not opening automatically. If this is happening you have one of three problems;
1. You computer does not know how to open this type document. To fix this, right click the document and go to "OPEN" and then choose your web browser program you like ( Opera, Firefox, iExplorer, etc ). You can also click the small check box to allow this document to open these documents with a web browser, EVERYTIME in the future.
2. Your document is not valid to be opened by a web browser. In this case look up the extension of the document on the Internet and find a suitable program to open it. For example: ".doc or .xyz )
3. If you web browser is working and refuses to open it, then it may be a security problem and you will have to change your setting in the browsers, security tab.

3. if it still doesn't work check it in safe mode with networking, if it works there disable securiy software once and see.

The problem is not with your computer or your browser. You are saying 2 links opened. The other 2 did not open. It is quite common different links point to the same URL. The reason it did not open was because there is some mistake in the URl. Another reason could be that your browser is setup to block certain type of websites.
