SOURCE: Headset not working
Sounds like your headset isn't paired with its base. With the headset in the cradle press and hold the button on the left side of the base that has two arrows on it. You should see the blue light on your headset turn on. Its now paired to the base.
If that doesn't work, remove the battery from the headset. (This is the back piece of the headset.) Wait a few seconds and then snap it back on to your headset.
Good luck.

Hi There, I had the same problem with a headset one of our call centre reps were using. It's usually due to some one fiddling with the button. I got it working by removing the battery from the headset then resinked the headset to the base unit. Hope it works for you

I was also experiencing the same problem (also after a power failure / storm) -- apparently good battery charge, connections ok, etc. I then tried removing the battery from the headset itself, waited 30 seconds, and then reinstalled the battery. This seems to have resolved the problem.
It is fairly easy to open the clamshell, but you will need a very fine Phillips screwdriver to remove the battery hold-in (it's really not a hold-down, it just keeps the battery in place. Reassemble the same way -- be sure to keep positive to positive and negative to negative.

Hi I was in a live session with you when you left. Apparently you have not paired the headset with the base. All you have to do is follow this procedure
Place the headset in the charging base->Press
the base's pairing button->Both the telephone and USB buttons on the
base until the headset's link indicator will light for 2 seconds indicating that the pairing is successful. It should probabl charge after this.
Let me know if you need more help.
Sai.

Unplug the unit -- Then grab the ear peice, and slide off the battery, wipe off the metal prongs ...leave apart for a couple minutes, then put back together. Make sure you plug the unit back in. It will take a couple hours for the battery to charge. But this should solve your issue.
