My washing machine fills up then all of the lights start flashing and a LR appears. Have tried unplugging, restarting, etc. but nothing works. Any suggestions?

Yes unfortunately that means the computer has tryed multiple times to engage the motor and it pulls high amperage and no rpm is detected. Hope it under warranty. remove the belt from the motor pulley and make sure motor spins freely,check the 3 windings with an ohmmeter for appx 8-11 ohms each,then check all connections everywhere by removing and reinserting them,then try to run the diagnostics from the tech sheet inside the washer,if all this fails then replace the M.C.U. motor control unit
LR == locked rotor, which translates to a bad motor and motor control board( usually depending on age sold a 1 set. Neptune repair kit. retails for about $200 part number 12002039
