Is it possible that this DVD disc can be a protected DVD? If so, you can't just directly copy the DVD. For copying protected DVD, you should use a DVD tool to decrypt the DVD protection first and then you can do the copying. You can try Leawo DVD Copy which can remove the DVD protection forever and get you a DVDV without protection.

If you are copying a DVD to another blank DVD, just put the original DVD inside > open Nero > click Copy disk > then the copy dialog box window will appear. > Just select your favourite speed ( [8x] medium speed recommended) and click Burn. If you are copying a DVD to your hard disk, just put your DVD on the drive, Open My computer > right click DVD drive icon and click open > Then select the appropriate file or folder to copy > right click it select copy > close the window. Now open My computer > open disk drive [may be D: or E:and so on... ] > right click and select paste. Now the file will be copied to your disk.
